Accepting These Terms
By accessing or using Deuce — whether through our website at playdeuce.in, our iOS or Android application, or any other Deuce service — you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines (all incorporated here by reference).
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Deuce. We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time; when we do, we'll notify you with at least 14 days' notice for material changes.
Who Can Use Deuce
To use Deuce, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old. We take age restrictions seriously and will terminate accounts we discover belong to minors.
- Be a human. Automated accounts, bots, and scrapers are not permitted.
- Not have been previously banned from Deuce for violating our Terms or Community Guidelines.
- Be legally permitted to enter into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law.
- Not be a convicted sex offender or on any relevant criminal registry.
By creating an account, you confirm that you meet all of the above criteria and that the information you provide is truthful and accurate.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Deuce account. This includes keeping your login credentials secure and not sharing your account with anyone else. Each person may only maintain one account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information if it changes. Deuce accounts are personal and non-transferable.
One account per person. Creating duplicate accounts — especially after being banned — is a serious violation of these Terms and may result in permanent removal from Deuce.
How You May Use the Platform
Deuce grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform for your personal, non-commercial purposes — specifically to find and connect with people who share your activity interests.
You agree to use Deuce in a manner consistent with our Community Guidelines and the spirit of what Deuce is: a platform for genuine human connection through shared activities. You may not use Deuce for commercial solicitation, to run any kind of business, or to promote third-party products or services without our express written permission.
Content You Post
You retain ownership of any content you post on Deuce — your photos, bio, messages, and activity posts ("Your Content"). By posting content, you grant Deuce a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, store, display, and distribute Your Content for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.
This licence is limited: we won't use your photos in advertising without your explicit consent, and the licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
You are solely responsible for Your Content. You confirm that you have all rights necessary to post it and that it does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any applicable law.
Content we will always remove:
- Content that sexualises or endangers children — zero tolerance, always reported to authorities
- Nudity or sexually explicit material
- Content depicting or inciting violence or self-harm
- Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory content
- Spam, scams, or fraudulent content
- Content that violates another person's privacy
What You Must Never Do
The following conduct is strictly prohibited on Deuce and may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement:
- Impersonation: Pretending to be another person, creating a false identity, or misrepresenting yourself in any material way.
- Harassment: Sending unwanted, repeated, or threatening messages to other users, or pursuing someone who has unmatched or blocked you.
- Solicitation: Using Deuce to sell products, services, or anything else; or to recruit for MLM schemes, religious groups, or any other organisation.
- Fraud or scams: Attempting to deceive other users for personal or financial gain, including romance scams.
- Scraping: Using bots, crawlers, or automated tools to collect data from Deuce.
- Hacking: Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems or another user's account.
- Underage use: Using the platform if you are under 18, or helping anyone under 18 access Deuce.
- Sharing private information: Posting another person's contact details, location, or private images without their explicit consent.
Paid Services
When Deuce launches premium features or subscriptions, the following will apply:
Billing: Subscriptions will be billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). You authorise us to charge the payment method on file at each renewal.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until then.
Refunds: We offer a refund within 7 days of initial purchase if you are not satisfied. After this window, subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by Indian consumer protection law.
Price changes: We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices, and you'll have the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.
Our Brand and Technology
Deuce and its entire contents, features, and functionality — including the software, design, text, graphics, and the Fluid Orbit logo — are owned by Deuce and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of Deuce without our prior written consent. The Deuce name, logo, and brand are our trademarks and may not be used without permission.
What We Don't Guarantee
Deuce is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your expectations. We are not responsible for the accuracy of any user-generated content or the behaviour of other users.
Meeting other users in person is at your own risk. Please take sensible precautions when meeting someone you've connected with on Deuce for the first time — meet in public places, let someone know where you're going, and trust your instincts. See our Safety Tips for more guidance.
Deuce is a platform for social connection — we do not conduct background checks on users and cannot guarantee that all profiles are genuine. If you encounter suspicious behaviour, please report it immediately through the app.
Our Liability to You
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Deuce shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to damages arising from interactions with other users.
Our total liability to you in connection with any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Deuce shall not exceed the amount you paid to Deuce in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000 — whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Account Suspension and Termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon deletion, we will process the removal of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or if we receive credible reports of harmful behaviour — on or off the platform.
When possible, we will give you notice and an opportunity to appeal account actions. However, in cases of severe violations — particularly those involving harm to minors, threats of violence, or fraud — we may act immediately without prior notice.
Legal Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and applicable data protection regulations.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Deuce shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issues informally before initiating legal proceedings.
